It plays a vital role as a filter in several physiological processes, including the metabolic function and detoxification of blood. As a result, the health of our body is directly related to the functioning of our liver. Although the liver is able to regenerate damaged cells, if too many cells are lost, it may not work properly.

There are many bad habits that are part of our daily routine and can damage the liver without even realizing it, as the damage is gradual and initially without any apparent symptoms. But over time, these can seriously damage your liver.

 

7. Drink too much alcohol

 

High alcohol consumption is the most common cause of Un healthy liver. An excessive amount of alcohol affects the liver’s ability to rid the body of toxins. Thus, the liver diverted from these other functions focuses primarily on the conversion of alcohol into a less toxic form.

Smoking is one of the most harmful habits in terms of health. Cigarette smoke indirectly affects the liver via oxidative stress, which then produces free radicals that damage cells. Oxidative stress is also responsible for fibrosis.It will effect to passive smokers also.
